Overview

Having completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, I began my career as a psychologist in 2002 in the public sector supporting people with various disabilities (including specific learning difficulties) back into the workplace. I also ran workshops on a variety of disabilities. During this time, I gained Chartered status with the British Psychological Society and registration with the Health & Care Professions Council.

I have over 15 years experience in the field of dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, 10 of which I spent as a Consultant Psychologist for the former Dyslexia Action, before it went into administration. Following this, I have set up my own limited company (Justine Webb Psychology Services Limited), have jointly set up Dyslexia East Midlands and work as a freelance consultant psychologist for various organisations within the East Midlands and surrounding areas, including National Dyslexia Network.

I am widely experienced in assessing children of all ages, students (including DSA assessments) and adults in employment and cover matters concerning dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia.

What do I enjoy the most: - being able to give people an understanding of their learning differences.

Greatest achievement: - gaining my undergraduate degree whilst working full-time.

Proudest moment: - the birth of my children.

Hobbies :- reading, cooking, gardening, crafts.
